FLorida........?

I live in florida and i want to go to different and unique place that i haven't been to. Do you know of anywhere that I could go on a short road trip to? I live near orlando, and i have been to key west. I am looking for small little towns

1. I don't know where in Florida you live, but you should take a road trip to Key West. Absolutely beautiful drive. Key West is a great city.
2. take a trip upwards. 3. Looking for those odd little places, huh? My first suggestion is to visit the library or a bookstore and find "off the beaten path" books about Florida. That's where I got my start 20 years ago. Then get a really good Florida map that shows the little backroads and the road numbers. For a day trip, some nearby towns with oddities or some kind of Florida history attached to them are Mt. Dora, Christmas, Cassadaga, Rockledge, Enterprise, Oklawaha, and Micanopy. There's more as you work your way further outward...a lot more. Remember that driving down the main street of these places will probably bring no rewards. It's those little side streets that bring out the surprises. But read up first!
4. Have you been to St Augustine? It's a cool place to spend the day.
